Patriotic Imperial vs. French Metric

September 07, 2016 by Mark Jensen in Metric

Matthew Walther just published a fine rant on the use of the metric system in everyday life. The Daily Telegraph is reporting that:

Following the outcome of the EU referendum last Friday, in which Britain voted to leave the European Union, a butcher in Devon immediately started offering meat in pounds and ounces as well as grams and kilograms.

It appears that the Imperial vs. Metric discussion continues.

I ran across Matt Parker putting his two bits worth, in style, on this topic earlier this summer.

Let the flaming begin.
